Age Concern Boiler Grants is one of many measures available from the current Government Grant Scheme known as Eco 4. This 100% Free Scheme focuses on upgrading old gas boilers for people on low income & means tested benefits.
Are There Free Boilers For Pensioners Not On Benefits?
There are free boilers available to OAPs not on Pension Credit BUT they are very difficult to get unfortunately.
There is a scheme called LA FLEX which has been set up for non benefit claimants of ALL AGES which allows people on low income to be able to access free grants.
As stated they are difficult to get as many councils are not signed up to a scheme such as this.

We Are not aware of any scheme for boiler repairs in the UK. The best scheme for old or broken boilers is the Age Concern Boiler Grants Scheme on this page.
We recommend you make an application for a free boiler exchange if you are having boiler problems. They can only say no.
