Age Uk Do Not Provide Any Grants Themselves But We Can Point You In The Right Direction If You Are Elderly & Disabled,
Age Uk Bathroom Grants – Are they Available?
Age Concern do not provide free bathrooms, or any home improvement grants to any pensioners unfortunately.
They do not get any funding from the Government to be able to offer our pensioners any much needed facilities and Age Concerns exists in an advisory capacity only.
If you are disabled and are looking for bathroom adaptions, walk in showers etc, you may be eligible for a Disabled Facilities Grant which should cover all of the cost of any adaptions you may need.
Does Age Uk Give Grants For Anything Else?
Age UK itself doesn’t directly provide grants, but they do offer a range of services and support for older people, including advice on benefits, befriending services, and help with finding and arranging care.
Age Uk might refer you to organizations like Friends of the Elderly, which provides grants to older people living on low incomes.
These grants can cover essential expenses such as purchasing a new fridge, paying unexpected bills, or covering gas and electricity costs.
