There isn’t a grant specifically for double glazing, but the following 3 grants for energy-efficient home improvements can be used to get double glazing installed.
They are VERY difficult to obtain however and you will not be able to get a grant only for the replacement of windows on its own.
The double glazing grants available are part of Government Home Efficiency schemes and you will need to have other measures installed to be able to get a grant.

The Eco 4 scheme provides funding for energy-efficient upgrades for heating and insulation to fuel-poor households that have occupants on certain means tested benefits. Measures you can obtain on Eco 4 are:

The Home Upgrade Grant
The Home Upgrade Grant (HUG)is a government initiative in England designed to help low-income households improve their home’s energy efficiency.
This grant mainly provides funding for energy-saving improvements to low-income households not connected to the gas grid.
You Can Get Energy Efficiency Upgrades For
- wall, loft, and underfloor insulation,
- air source heat pumps,
- electric radiators.
- Double Glazing
- Upgrading heating to low carbon heating systems.
Home Energy Scotland Grant
The Home Energy Scotland Grant is a program funded by the Scottish Government to help homeowners improve their home’s energy efficiency and reduce energy bills.
Homeowners can apply for grants up to £7,500 for energy efficiency improvements (like insulation) and £7,500 for clean heating systems (like heat pumps).
There’s also an option for interest-free loans to cover additional costs.
