As someone who has been working on the Free Boiler Scheme since 2013 ( when it first started ) I can 100% vouch for this.
People who think it is a con, have probably applied for the free boiler and have been rejected or have heard nothing back and so are very sceptical.
I cant blame them really but the Scheme is very real and still alive and kicking in 2024.

Can I Get A Free Boiler?
Yes, if you meet the very strict criteria.
Bear in mind that over 80% of all free boiler applications are being rejected due to the Government making it as tough as possible to qualify.
As of 2024, the government is only funding the replacement of back boilers and boilers that are over 19 years old.
All Boilers fitted AFTER 2005 are CONDENSING BOILERS and are rejected even if they are broken down.
