   This company was extremely easy to deal with. The staff I had dealings with were very helpful, especially Carlo. When there was a slight hiccup with the first installation company assigned to us, Carlo got on the case immediately and reassigned another company. The company they used were extremely professional.    Another  heating company in let me down and said they could not proceed with my heating conversion at the kast minute  due to the fact i had a coal fired back boiler. I spoke to a few firms nobody would do it.i phoned Warm Front and spoke to Carlo,  we can do that mate!  1 month later i have a new combi boiler , hot water on demand and a warm house for the first time in 13 years.  I am over the moon and can't thank Carlo and his lads enough. They are true professionals who know exactly what theyre doing , very tidy and will be done before you know it.    Great service from Carlo  who was there from start to finish helping my mother save at least £4000 on a full central heating system
Carlo helped us get a very good company that was brilliant and installed the system within the week of coming to survey the job and only taking one day to install
Would definitely recommend this service as when I was phoning up companies myself they either wasn’t turning up or telling us we wasn’t eligible or turning up and then hearing nothing from them again

When is the Age Concern Boiler Grant Due To End?

The current free boiler scheme is due to end in March 2026.

Grants can end at any time however so best to apply now if you wish to take advantage of this scheme.

Age Concern Free boiler replacement - Is It A Con?

This is not a con.

If you meet the criteria, you will get a £2500 boiler absolutely FREE!

Many people are now being rejected however as the criteria is very tough but worth you making an application as you may be eligible.

Is There free boiler replacement for pensioners Not On A Benefit?

There is a scheme called LA Flex that some UK councils are signed up to which allows people to apply for the Free Boiler without having to be on a benefit.

The scheme is very sparse though and your council will have its own criteria. If You live in the Midlands you can make an application and we will try to assist.

Most non benefit applications do fail due to lack of councils being signed up to the scheme.

Are Free Boilers Installed By Age Concern ?

No. Age Concern Do Not Have Any Thing To Do With The Scheme.

Many People Know The Scheme As ACBG and So We Are Promoting It In Order That As Many OAps Can Benefit.

Do Back Boilers Qualify For The Age Concern Boiler Grant too?

OAPs on Pension Credit can get a 100% funded and free back boiler removal and replacement grant under the Age Concern Boiler Grant Scheme

This grant scheme aims to encourage the removal of outdated back boilers and promote the adoption of more energy-efficient heating systems.

Are There Oil Boiler Grants For Pensioners Available?

Yes -You may be able to replace your oil boiler for a Free Air Source Heat Pump and have Free Solid Wall Insulation too.

You cannot have your oil boiler replaced on a like for like basis.

Can I get boiler grant with state pension?

NO. Age Uk Boiler Replacement is only available to those that are in receipt of Pension Credit either Savings or Guarantee Credit to qualify for the Free Boiler.

I Have No Boiler Fitted - Can I Apply ?

Yes. There Are Still Free Boilers For Pensioners Even If You Do Not Have A Boiler Fitted.

You Can Apply For The Free Central Heating Grant For Over 70s on this site.

Age UK is the new name of the charity formed by the merger between Age Concern and Help the Aged in 2009

What Else is free for over 60s?

In the UK, everyone over the age of 60 gets free prescriptions and NHS eye tests.

You can also get free NHS dental treatment if you’re over 60 and claiming pension guarantee credits or other benefits if you’re under state pension age.
