If ineeded to replace my home boiler my choices would be BAXI – WORCESTER BOSCH – VIESSEMAN.
I have heard good reports about all these boilers particularly the Baxi which comes with a 10 year warranty. I would not pay more than £2000 for a straight combi swap either.

Local Engineer Boiler Replacement -
You should consult a LOCAL GAS ENGINEER (RECOMMENDED TO YOU BY FRIENDS & FAMILY ) FIRST.
A small one man band operation will give you the best price and service as he will want your business for years ( servicing & repairs etc )
Local Engineer Boiler Replacement - Reasonable Prices
For a straight Combi swap – £1800 -£2000
He will get all the materials for around £1000 so will make HIMSELF AROUND £800 FOR A DAYS LABOUR
Back Boiler Conversion – £2500- £3000.
This is a larger job and usually takes 2 days to install due to removal of the back boiler etc. He will still make around £800 labour per day so will be well in.
System Boiler Conversion To Combi – Again around £2500 to remove the cylinder and convert to a combi boiler.
What Is The Boiler Upgrade Scheme ?
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme has been extended until 2028.
This scheme, applicable in England and Wales only provides grants to help replace fossil fuel heating systems with more sustainable alternatives such as renewables.
Eligible Applicants will only receive a maximum grant of £7500 with you making a contribution of up to £4000.

Anyone in the Uk can apply as long as you have one below fitted in the home.
All Fossil fuel heating systems are eligible for an upgrade including

How To Apply For The Boiler Upgrade Scheme
Contact suitable MCS certified installers to get quotes for the work.
Confirm you’re eligible (your installer will tell you).
Agree a quote with your chosen installer.
The installer will apply on your behalf on the Ofgem website. The value of the grant will be taken off the amount you pay for installation.
